450kW Ultra-Fast Charging Station In Mumbai Unveiled By Audi India and ChargeZone

Audi India has unveiled India’s quickest charging station in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). ChargeZone created and will manage this system. The charging complex has a total capacity of 450kW, can charge a single car at a maximum charging speed of 360kW, and has five charging bays.

The charging station can charge the Audi Q8 e-tron 55’s battery from 20% to 80% in about 26 minutes. With a capacity of 114kWh, the EV boasts the biggest battery of any automobile in India. Furthermore, the ‘e-tron hub’ is powered by green energy and even features solar panels on the roof for auxiliary power needs.

The ultra-fast charging station has been intended to deliver a world-class charging experience with high-powered guns that use liquid cooling technology and a 500amp power rating. Audi will also provide coffee coupons to e-tron owners, which can be used at the station’s shop. Customers will benefit from skilled individuals who can assist them if they require it.

Audi India has placed 140+ EV chargers in 73 cities throughout India, including Audi India dealerships, workshops, and Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) dealerships. In India, the company offers a variety of electric vehicles, including the Q8 50 e-tron, Q8 55 e-tron, Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron, Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT.
