Maruti Suzuki India has released the Thunder version of the Jimny to make the off-roader more accessible to buyers. The Jimny Thunder version is Rs 2 lakh less expensive than the Jimny Zeta.

The Jimny Thunder edition is priced at Rs 10.74 lakh (ex-showroom) on the Maruti Suzuki Nexa website. This is the introductory pricing for a limited time.

Maruti Suzuki India has not issued an official statement on the upgrades to the Jimny Thunder edition.
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny Thunder edition is powered by the same K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine, which produces 105PS and 134Nm of peak torque. It has both a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The Jimny has a ladder frame chassis. It comes fitted with ALLGRIP PRO 4WD technology and a low-range transfer gear (4L mode).
The Jimny still has Zeta and Alpha variations. Their prices (ex-showroom) are shown below.
- Zeta MT – ₹ 12.74 lakh
- Zeta AT – ₹ 13.94 lakh
- Alpha MT – ₹ 13.69 lakh
- Alpha AT – ₹ 14.89 lakh
- Alpha MT (Dual Tone) – ₹ 13.85 lakh
- Alpha AT (Dual Tone) – ₹ 15.05 lakh
