According to authorities, Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, received a death threat earlier this week. An individual threatened to murder the industrialist in an email if he did not pay him 20 crore.
“We will kill you if you fail to give us 20 crore rupees.” “We possess the best shooters in India,” the email claims.
The threat was delivered on October 27 by a person called Shadab Khan, according to the police, who added that a report was lodged when security officers at Mr Ambani’s Mumbai home, Antilia, brought the death threat to their attention.
Gamdevi Police in Mumbai filed a case against an unknown individual under sections 387 and 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code and began an investigation.
This is not Mukesh Ambani’s first time receiving death threats.

Last year, Mumbai Police arrested a guy from Bihar for making anonymous threats against Mr Ambani and his family members. The caller threatened to “blow up” the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and the Ambani family property ‘Antilia’ in south Mumbai.
